Due to the uncertain weather delivery apps in Dubai have announced delays and suspensions of services

Drivers may be delayed owing to waterlogging and traffic on the roadways, customers are warned.

Dubai has been experiencing steady rain all day, which has filled the roads with water. The RTA has already announced road closures and said that detours will be available.

Apps that arrange deliveries are advising users that they may experience delays as a result of the stormy weather.

Because of the bad weather, Deliveroo has temporarily disabled order placement on their homepage. Instead of contacting them, customers are asked to get in touch with the restaurants themselves.

Rain continues to fall on Dubai throughout the day, filling the roads with water. Road closures and alternative routes were both previously publicised by the RTA.
